Initial ideas
My initial ideas are of a combination music video. This will allow me and the rest of my group to have a large experimental spectrum. The combination would be between a performane and a narrative. The narrative will reflect the lyrics of the song and therefore enhance the message .

This Australian Indie Rock band has repetitive riffs and relaxing vibes. This song instanlty made ideas flood my mind. Being purposedly cheesy is not always a bad thing!

Located in the streets of London: Shoreditch, Camden, Brick Lane
Spot light on the band (use the auditorium at school)
The 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' music video inspired me to have my lead vocalist walking along the streets of London. The vibrant colour of Brick Lane and Camden will constras with the somewhat depressing lyrics.
The spot light on the band will isolate any other attention grabbing things going on and it will conform to the Rock genre of music videos.
The close ups will also conform to the conventions of Indie Rock and to Goodwin's theory of demands from the record lable. The close ups and medim shots will focus on the artist and therefore give them more attention.
Final Idea:
BreeRunway - It's about us
As a group we decided and finalised on makeing a music video for BreebreRunway. This is an R'n'B song and at the moment we are thinking of making a narrative video perhaps about a tragic love stor. which will both subvert and comform to the R'n'B genre.
The artist is Nathan's sister so maybe we can even get her to be the protagonist in our video. This would conform to Goodwin's theory of record label demand and also star power.
